Jamal Mateen

Jamal Mateen is the co-host of The Best Damn Cigar Show on Sundays from noon to 1pm. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Communication in 1994. He started his professional career at Charles Schwab as a series 7 licensed platinum traders for high net worth individuals, trading, OTC stocks, options and bonds until 2001. He was then recruited to work as a financial consultant for one of the top producing mortgage brokers in Arizona. After several months of consulting he started originating his own loans and joined Carnegie First from 2001-2008 were he was a consistent president’s club member and “rookie of the year” . He now has joined the Security Mortgage Corporation team as of January 2009.

Jamal specializes in home purchases, refinances, hard money and commercial loans. He takes a home owner from start to finish on a transaction. He also puts on regular seminars and lunch and learn events that help first time home owners understand the different types of mortgages and which one works best for them and why.

His goal is to provide every client no matter how big or small with exemplarily service that inspires them to tell others.
